Best pet sitter ever !

I have a lifetime of experience with a range of dogs from Newfoundland, Bull terrier and lab's, both chocolate and Black, and I almost forgot 'Spongy' our golden retriever as kids. I have had several cats including apricot Siamese and a few strays.

I am competent with dog training and behavioral skills but not formally trained, yet our last dog was trained to therapy level and used in many schools and special needs situations. I deeply miss the interaction with dogs and cats there is nothing like the unconditional love you experience, all of them characters with their own quirky habits.

I am looking for the experience of house sitting in different areas to get out of my neighbourhood in Towcester for a change. My partner and I are looking to buy next year and still no idea where to move to, perhaps I will be inspired.

I have full advanced DBS certification and reference available to send via email or txt message if required. I have uploaded these to the website but they don't always appear to be attached to the conversation.

Daniel arrived a day early for the sit which meant we had time to get to know him before we left for our holiday. This was our first time using Housesitters and although we were anxious at having a stranger in the house, Daniel soon put us at our ease. He is a natural with dogs and soon had them under his spell! Daniel was our first house-sitter and it was a good experience. He took very good care of our cat and dog for the three weeks we were away and gave them both lots of attention. They certainly missed him when he had gone. Daniel took good care of the house and it was very tidy when we returned. He even cooked us a meal.

We can not say enough about Dan. He was extremely caring of our dog and home. He was alway happy to pitch in when medication ran out or it was time for the groomer. His communication was excellent and he is in general a very kind and caring person. We would highly recommend him.

From the first conversation with Dan we had 100% confidence that the dogs were in very safe hands. Dan took a particular interest in the personalities of both Charlie and Archie and ensured that they were well looked after and did not miss us too much while we were away. Daniel was amazing with our two elderly cats and a very lovely housesitter all round. Gave us plenty of updates, made sure they were taking their medication, and left the house clean and tidy when we got home. Would 100% recommend.

Daniel was absolutely wonderful. We could tell immediately that our old pooch would be in safe, kind hands. Dan sent us regular humorous updates and photos during our trip which were much appreciated. We came home to a happy dog and a spotlessly clean and tidy house (maybe even cleaner than when we left 😂) Dan had even attempted to clear away the many autumn leaves that were descending on the garden!
