My name is Marta and I am 48 year old.
I live in a pretty house in the countryside with three dogs and one cat. She is my own pet, who I adopted three years ago. She is a lovely and a beautiful cat. My cat´s name is Atenea. Making this decision was very important for me because I have always wanted to take care of my own pet. On the other hand, since I was a child, my parents have always had two or three German shepherd dogs over the years. My brother, my sister and I had to take care of them until we live in our own houses. Currently, my parents have three lovely Yorkshires, my brother has a Miniature Pinscher dog and my sister has a Golden Retriever pupp. Our pets always have been an important members of our family.

Description of myself:
If I have to describe myself, I could say that I´m an energetic, easy-going and a good-tempered person. Besides, I´m an open-minded, honest and a proactive person too.
I´m psychologist and I have my own psychological center where I currently work with other healthcare professionals. This job let me work in any place by videocall.
The place where I live and work is Spain. The town where I live is a beautiful place because every morning, I can see the mountains on my way to work. I usually go for a walk and it´s normal to see livestock and horses in the medow. My favourite activities take place in the countryside.

Why I want to be a house sitter?
Because this is an opportunity for me to travel around UK while I take care of your property and your pet for one or two weeks and at the same time, I can improve my english. On the other hand. I am a reliable person who can provide care and security to your pet because I have experience. In addition, my age and my maturity also assures you my ability to take care of your home as if it were my own.

My interests:
I love traveling and getting to know different cultures. For this reason, I like to plan a couple of trips a year. For example, in January I went to NYC. Furthermore, my mum and I could enjoy a special trip to Venice in March. I also visited Dublin with my daughter in May to celebrate the Mother´s Day together. Nowadays she is studying in USA and last year was studying in Donegal, a county in the northwest of Ireland.
I also have interest to practice english in my trips. I like hiking, cycling and when I have the opportunity, I love going on a picnic and relax on the top of a big stone where I can contemplate the landscape and appreciate the silence of nature.
