Laura & Dan

Hello :)

We are a reliable, non-smoking couple who adore animals and are looking for pet-sitting opportunities all across the UK. We are currently between jobs - so very flexible when it comes length of stay and able to give your pets our undivided attention.

I grew up with a big friendly golden retriever and a lively labradoodle (as well as rabbits and fish) and Dan has grown up with two very excitable Jack Russell terriers. Dan also volunteered at an animal shelter in Sheffield where he looked after poorly hedgehogs and birds. Additionally, he worked in a kennels and cattery for a year, caring for a variety of pets ranging from cute playful puppies, rowdy border collies, timid greyhounds and more - so between us we have experience with dogs with all sorts of backgrounds and personalities. Dan’s time at the kennels also means he has experience caring for pets who might be missing their owners.

We have house-sat and pet-sat on numerous occasions for friends and family, most recently for Dan’s parents’ energetic Jack Russell for three months, as well as puppy sitting for an extremely excitable working cocker pup last summer. We are very tidy and conscientious house-sitters, and we are happy to keep on top of any gardening as well if needed.

We are an active couple who love getting out and exploring the countryside and taking long walks. We’re from north west England - so no amount of wind or rain could ever deter us from getting your pets outside for several hours each day! Having said that, we also love relaxing in the evening with a nice cuppa and some cuddles with our dogs.

We’re very excited to meet some lovely new furry companions to share in our adventures in the UK with us!
