I have joined house sitters uk to widen my choices after having completed some very successful sits on trusted housesitters.
I work in finance and my husband works in a school and we love holidaying together but I miss my cats while away so pet sitting gives me the opportunity to care for someone else's beloved companions and have a holiday at the same time. We have recently taken our two grandchildren in to live with us permanently. I was worried my cats would be upset as they are both ex ferals that I tamed myself but my grandchildren aged 8 and 7 totally won them over by being quiet and gentle, and Patch my one eyed princess who was scared of everyone apart from myself and my husband loves getting tummy rubs from my eight year old granddaughter.
I have over the years, had many pets including, numerous cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, a terrapin, mice, rats, degu, chickens, and have looked after snakes, dogs, bearded dragons and many other animals .
My husband and I also enjoy horseriding. We are also converting an old church with my husband and son doing all the work themselves, so keep busy.
