56, Freelance IT Consultant (Semi-retired)

Hi all, I am a semi-retired Microsoft Consultant, who can work from any location. I have experience with many animals including Dogs, Cats, Sheep, Chickens, Rabbits, Horses, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Ferrets, and numerous other beautiful pets. (But unfortunately not the Tiger) I am a very clean and tidy person who takes care of both possessions and pets. I am also a non-smoker.

I used to work away in my role however this stopped somewhat after Covid, but I love to travel and see different areas. I now see house sitting as an ideal way of doing this and also helping out people who need a responsible and reliable person to look after their loved pets and property with the same values that they themselves have.

I find I have a lot of spare time to travel and explore both between and during contracts. I have done previous house/Pet sitting for people in Scotland, Cornwall, Devon and Durham as well as friends and relatives across the UK over the years.

Please feel free to contact me if you feel I would be suitable and match your requirements. I have my own transport and can be flexible and spontaneous.

I can often be available at short notice, if not already sitting, so just ask.

Tony looked after Inka and Tarka for a week for us. We had a good conversation before he arrived, and enjoyed an evening getting to know Tony. He is easy going and friendly, interacting well with the animals. He asked about the house and pet care, so we were confident that Tony would look after everything very well. This proved to be true. Tony did a wonderful job looking after my home and my pets. I returned home to find a beautifully clean house and two very happy pets. Unfortunately my cat was ill after I returned and Tony very kindly sent messages enquiring after her which really was above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and would gladly have him sit for me again.

Tony looked after my large Alaskan Malamute dog and 2 Guinea pigs for just under 2 weeks whilst we were away. He kept in touch and provided updates of the pet’s condition which was very reassuring. When we returned to the house all the pets were in good condition. Tony had left the house clean, he had put the used bedding and towel through the wash prior to leaving and had left the bins out as requested. Tony has looked after our Cocker Spaniel and chickens for the last 10 days, Tony sent regular updates and pictures, and took great care of Bryan, who loved his walks and sharing Tony's tea! Due to me mixing up the sitting dates Tony was more than accommodating and came a few days earlier then planed. I would 100% recommend Tony to look after anyone's animals and home.
